Plowing snow this morning and about 10:30 I was plowing a small lot. In this lot there are some lawyers offices and a Church. Well people were coming in and I was trying to get done. There was this one lady, kept following me and getting in my way. I mean this lady had NO sense of direction whatsoever. After the 4th time of getting in my way. I yelled out some choice words about her and her driving skills to myself inside the cab, thankfully the windows were up. She finally parks her car and gets out. I almost died, she was a Nun.

Almost everyone believes in invisible unproven things (god, angels, heaven, what have you). Given that, is it at all surprising what we have for up-and-coming and current leaders.

Oh, another thing a friend told me, if a catholic wife has 10 children, she gets a free pass to heaven. Now thats ok, but what did the father get?

She must have been praying for you or you would have died. But God is so good, He made us and He knows we stumble. That's why He sent Jesus. So now we can pick ourselves up, dust off the dirt and keep going.

Well you may have some slight repentance due, but I think if every person who has become visibly angry with someone at any time in life or has been in arrears with the guy upstairs, we'd all be on the bus heading south ! it don't take much to get angry, but it can take a little effort to right a situation that occurs when one goes off a little.

A good friend who is kind of a high strung character used to have a route delivering things like film for processing etc., was a nice easy decent paying gig, but like you, some senior citizen in a parking lot got the best of him as he was always trying to make time one day, he apparently put on an academy award winning performance, all inside his van with the windows rolled up, (I can just picture this). I believe it was when he exited the van and proceeded to walk over to the store for a pick up and another older gent with an oxygen bottle in tow, kind of floated over to him undetected and unoticed ! He says " What company do you work for ?" Response was " Self employed, I work for myself" Older gent says, "did you know that in NYS senior citizens have the right of way ?" and then he comes out with " I saw you curse out that woman !" You never know who is watching, this guy kind of appeared out of nowhwere like George Burns in the movie GOD, it was comical, and I think it quenched his high strung fire a little too. Was funny to listen to him tell the story, one of those situations where you had to be there.

Did you use the F-word. Nuns dont like hearing that or other sentence enhancers. Remember that being nice (always) pays eternal dividends. That nun is likely going ask the Almighty to make your life a living *ell.

I think this needs posted over on tales, just so you can start a pun fest.

Nothing like a good pun fest, to make a Friday afternoon go faster. It should make everyone's day rosary.

The office I work at shares a parking lot with the Registry of Motor Vehicles. You should see some of these people taking their driving tests. 4-5 tries to back into a parking spot; no turn signals leaving the parking lot, and even some fender-benders. Needless to say, I park out behind the building on the lawn. As for you going south, if God is a man, he will understand since it was a Nun. If it had been a priest then you might have been heading down!

Back in '64, the most popular girl in my class took her driving test, in a VW. She was going to pull forward out of the parking space, managed to get it in the wrong gear, dumped the clutch and crashed into the cop car behind her. The cop said in a calm voice, "You have failed the driving test. We will now proceed directly to filling out an accident report." Took her awhile to live that one down.

12 years in Catholic schools taught me that those sweet little nuns can be as mean and sinister as they get. She might have been calling you names that would have made you blush.

And in the spirit of Catholisism, so long as you're sorry for what you did, no harm, no foul.

Had a Jewish friend from NYC. He said he spent 12 years going to Hebrew school. His was noted to be the toughest Hebrew school in NYC and probably the toughest in the world. He said his Hebrew school was so tough...they had Nuns.
