A little bit of everything being discussed tonight. Saw a snake (gardner, harmless) on snow on a snowmobile trail here in SW Wis. this afternoon. The dog (golden retriever) actually found the snake. The snake was alive & crawled off into warmer dead grass, making its escape safely. I'm old & have never seen a snake on snow before. Is this related to global warming? Reasoning would be: snake felt warm, so crawled onto snow to cool off!

You sure it wasn"t a snow snake. We"ve got those on the rim country here in Arizona. Deadly.
