Just had the carb rebuilt and can only keep the tractor running with about full choke. Also cannot throttle up unless choked. Tried the adjustment screw from full in to three turns out. Any ideas?

Blow air back through the fuel line from the carb to the tank(betting the tank has gunk in it)if it runs then you know too clean the tank.

How is the gasket between the carb and manifold?

Also between the manifold and the head.

You're not getting enough fuel. Filter probably clogged- there should also be a filter at the inlet of the carburetor, as well as the sediment bulb.

Remove the the main adjustment screw from the bottom of the carburetor and see if there's a good flow of gas from the carburetor. There may may be a screen behind the tube fitting where your gas line is connected that's full of crud.

Did you open this main adjustment screw? This is
where you can enrich the fuel mixture. Hal
