Has anyone tried to use one of the pressure washer sand blaster combos to remove rust and paint. How well do they work? How much does a pretty good won cost? Where do I get one?

I do trailers at work with a wet blast rig.
3500psi 4gpm pressure washer and a sand rig from Northern Tool. I use Black Beauty sand because it flows better than regular sand box sand. Set up the sand nozzle so it is on the top side of the pressur wand not the bottom. That helps keep water from running down into the sand tube.

MB, this is what I use to do almost all my blasting. I got mine at Northern Tool. They have them on sale right now. I have a 4000 psi washer and you can take stuff off in a hurry. And it also will work well on sheet metal because the water keeps the metal cool and also cushions the sand so you don't get pitting like a dry blaster can sometimes do. I very seldom use my dry blaster anymore. And a bonus is that the dust is controlled as well. Hope this helps. Mike
