I've recently purchased a 454. I've done some research in this site's archives but still have some questions. I'll be using it for brush hogging, box blade work, moving round bales, cutting and raking hay and pulling a pecan picker. The tractor I bought doesn't have external hydraulics and I would like to add a dual spool control valve. As I'm writting this, my plans are to find a pressure line and return line and just "T" into them. I realize this may not be the best way or easiest way, so I'm asking for your thoughts and help on this. Also any pics would be great! My second question deals with the exhaust. Mine comes right out of the top of the hood. I would like to run it out the back below the tractor. It looks like I can unbolt the exhaust manifold and just flip it so that it exhausts downward, is this correct? Is there anything unusual that I should watch for when I do this? Thank you for your time and help!
