Did you ever hear of serendipity? That's kind of how this all came about. I haven't even talked to the owner of the tractor, yet somehow I'm obligated to buy this thing even without a word spoken between us to say nothing of a handshake? Is he also, by this reasoning, obligated under these same circumstances to hold the thing for me until I show up in his yard with the money? Not where I come from. I accept your apology but, needless to say, I'm a bit resentful at your (and other's) characterization of me when you know so little of the facts of the case. I'm not out looking for any specific tractor but always have my eyes open. I just like them and hope to accumulate a few more before I die. This one just kind of fell into my lap. I'm not a "collector" and I don't have a lot of money. As far as your snotty remark "whatever your name is", I have never hidden my identity and usually post my email address. Hopefully my name as above will satisfy you this time even though most posters here don't use their real full name nor even post email addresses all the time. Feel free to email me if there's anything further you think needs to be said. Would you like my snail mail address, too?
