Cub and 30 questions

What are the 2 holes on the righrt side of the hood for inna 48 Cub. Also how far down should I screw the tightning nut on the frot side of the transmission shaft with new cord wrapped around it. I screwed it 2/3s of the way in. Qhoever had it ran over the wrong thing. Theres a chip out of the pulley face, and the pull has a wbble. All 3 shafts leak grease BAD, tho the front is the only one Ive ever replaced. The drawbar was vcompletly broke so it looksa, and the bars holding it have been broke. I know from this youll think its a piece of junk, but to look at it it looks pristene. Oh Also, the Pulley lever will slide out of gear when using it, and the top cap on the pulley leaver has been bronzed. BUT it runs like a champ, as the radiator screen, crank, and all on it. Extension pto shaft with guard. OH Another thing. When Im plowing, itall pull 2 14s fine in a 10 acre field for around 3 rounds, and then it will load up and die. Some times I can push the clutch in and save it, and sometimes not. When it dies, itall crank right back up and go good for awhile and then do it again. And that is right now in 50o weather. Any thoughts
