Chris; T.A.'S are not extremely hard to do, but the main thing is to check all bearings and bearing surfaces where needle bearings ride. the needle bearings I replace if I canput an o ring pick into the needles and create a gap. Also use new needles for the planetary gears, no execptions. Lastly I grind all the carriers where the ramp rollers ride to create a smooth surface. However, if your surface looks smooth as a bearing cone surface then you should be fine. I get my parts from several different wholesale suppliers and I.H. If you have trouble getting parts post me back though this site.
