Yes, I think the flare was caused by the needle. Well, not the end of the story yet....... I took the mixture screw out only to find that I had somehow LOST the SEAT!!!! I"ve looked all over the floor, I wish I would keep a cleaner work area! CNH does not offer the Mixture screw, seat or the packing anymore! If I can"t find this seat, I may be stuck with getting a different carb. Anybody have the bottom half of an H carb? Preferably with a good seat & packing!
