I used cubs in the past to mow around fields and along fences. I have found the cooling system to be less than adequate for this job. Presumably this is due to a lack of a water pump and the small size of the engine to begin with. By the way I had the radiator redone and that did not help. Will a Super A run any cooler than the Cub did? It will have a 42" Woods deck under it and will be used primarily to mow around corn and bean fields. It is my understanding that the Super A did not have a water pump either. Is this correct? Is there another tractor that would be more suitable for this use than a Super A? Help me out fellas. Thanks. Steve
