Jay, The clutch disk will come as an assembly, not seperate friction material. It is usually riveted together at a rebuilding company, or made new. The Rockford clutch style is the only one being reproduced, or produced, or rebuilt. So that is what you will get. Heavy duty driven disk is a four pad (or more) star shaped unit with springs in the center to reduce shock loading. The original might have a full circle of friction material, but they are not longer lived, nor better. Just a little more soft in engagenent. (go for the HD unit). Some extreme duty disks are ceramic. These will wear out the FW and Pressure plate as much as the ceramic, and work under sevier conditions, but not needed in your case (opinion). If there are loose parts, worn tips on the fingers, deep grooves in the friction surface, or ovaled out pivot points, I would replace the pressure plate as well. JimN
