Do not put abrasive into the engine at all!!!Worst idea I have ever heard. Bon-Ami Is a brand of scowering powder. If it is making steam out the breather, there could be issues but I would run it for at least 20 hours under light to moderate load, then put it to work. If it still steams, (and the coolant remains full) I would run it for at laest 100 hours before thinking of issues. If there is coolant loss, there will need to be repairs made after determining where it is leaking. If the wrong rings were installed, there would be no way to get it to run on Diesel as well as described. Choke the devil out of it when starting. It will (usually) require more choke than farmalls of gas persuasion. JimN
