I purchased a 300 that has water in crank case, has the TA trans, he says that it is probably just an O-Ring at top of cylinder hardened up after setting all year. He did not start it and I traded him out of it before any damage by starting was done. I know virtually nothing about this so I am trusting him to be honest on this one. I need help, if it is in fact an O-Ring what will it take to fix? Approx cost? will I have to take it to a shop or is it something I can repair? Do you think it might be a cracked head instead of the O-Ring? Everything else on the tractor is in very good condition so I think it is worth fixing? It was running fine when they parked it according to him. Please Help mikeh@cmc.net 541-419-3637 Thank you
