Might be worth a try to pull unit out far enough to get the module out of the back. It is near top and you can just pop it out. Clean the little bars on it with the eraser on a pencil and give it a try. If this helps or works for a while you can be sure the problem is in the unit itself. Other wise, check the inline fuse down by other fuse box, it is for tach.The data center has two power in wires. One from that fuse and one from keyed power off cab relay. That multli pin connector on back of data center can easily have damaged pins also. The ground connection is on the left front cab mount and cab has have good ground to frame also.The connectors on both rpm and mph could be problem as well as a build up of crud on the ends of the transducers. EGT problem is a seperate issue and never were reliable. I would forget about that part of it .
