We had on '04. No problems until around 95k miles, when the oil/exhaust cooler cracked. Around $3000 to fix it. Common problem now, wasn't well known until more trucks started getting near 100k miles. Coolant passages plug up and overheat, causing welds in the heat exchanger to crack, and dump coolant into the exhaust. Not good to see white smoke in your side mirror. Injectors are also a common problem that luckily I didn't experience, but fear of that expense is one of the reasons we decided to trade it off.
I was never impressed with the truck's power either. Seemed to suffer from bad turbo lag, made it tough to get out of situations when stuck in the snow, etc. Auto locking on the front hubs was giving us trouble too. We were very relieved to trade it in. Now drive a 2012 Laramie with the Cummins.
