Excellent idea. I have three of them. My Oliver 1600,77 and I just put one on my 500 a few weeks ago. I just hooked to one side of the coil on the 1600 and 77. I got the last one from Amazon. It wasn't the same as the other two. It had 3/8ths pipe thread inlet and out. I had to use adapters. Then the rubber swelled a little and it wasn't opening far enough. I had to open it up and shorten the plunger a little. I wish I had shopped a little more before I bought it. If you don't have one yet,just Google electric fuel shutoff. You'll get a bunch of hits. The one in the picture is on the 77. It's just like the one on the 1600. I haven't had a minutes trouble with either one of those.
