Any interest in some old IH engines or other items?

One of my customers just bought part of an estate that belonged to an old well driller. In the deal he got a IH 135B 4 cylinder, gas, power unit. It has a Twin-Disc clutch on the back. I imagine the engine would have to be rebuilt as it's been sitting outside for years, but it does appear to be complete.

The other engine is a BIG 6 cyinder that starts on gas or kerosene (not sure which) and then shifts to diesel. The block is stamped UD 1091 M 58(0 ?). It's still sitting on the back of an old B36P Mack truck, and is actually the drive for a HUGE Worthington air compressor. Again, it's been sitting for years, and in it's case I imagine it's probably locked up. Even so, it's all complete.

I know there are guys out there that both collect, and in the case of the smaller power unit, use these old engines, so I told the guy I'd post on here and see of there might be any interest, or if anyone might know someone who would have in interest.

He's also got an old, 21 inch Monarch lathe. It's flat belt drive but it has the overhead, electric, two speed, gearbox driven by a 3HP single phase motor. There is also a small Kerney and Trecker boring mill.

Finally, there is what looks like a Deere 40 (that's based on the fact the engine looks a lot like the one in my old 440IC dozer). It was split in half for something, and it appears the flywheel housing is missing. Otherwise, it looks like both the front end/engine, and the rear end are both is complete otherwise. The tractor also had spin out rims, but I believe they are rusted out. Even so it also has the cast weights on the rear.

My email is open if anyone wants to get up with me about this stuff.

Again, any interest in any of this stuff, please let me know. The guy is trying to move this stuff as fast as he can, and if it's possible to sell some of it in place, and not have to move it, he'll be way ahead in making at least a little money on this deal.......and saving some nice old stuff from the scrapper.

Today's Featured Article - A City Guy's First Tractor - by Fred Hambrecht. After living in apartments in Atlanta for more years than I care to remember, the wife and I decided to move to the country. Humming "Green Acres is the place for me..." we purchased a 29 acre tract about 60 miles south of Atlanta. Next came the house, I could talk about that ordeal for another two weeks... But, I want to talk about my tractor! We didn't even own a lawnmower, and all of a sudden we had enough grass to feed all the starving children of the bovine world. Naturally, I talked ...
