I don't have sperakers on my putor so I could not hear what things brought. Those Maytags are very much high in demand as the only wringer washer built that can have a gas engine put in because they are for a horisantal engine and a belt drive. I have bought a lot of them for the Amish that I work with. Price has been going up so much they cannot afford them. A decent reconditioned unit withe the hinged lid now will retail fot in range of $700, Possibly more As I am not now fully up on things. I think there are some new washers being built now but not nearly the quality of those old Maytags that will be running for anouther hundred years. All parts are avaible to repair any of them. And they will fly and go back to work. In 15 I had a god one on by truck tied down with 5 or 6 straps when a car did not slow for a stop sign and weraped be around a power pole. Washer flew over 75 feet landing in a bean bield. Jocky I got it for was going to repair the dammage for resale.
