I have to disagree here never use either on a Perkins engine it only takes a little to much one time to bust the piston in those engine. You do not have to loosen the injector lines at the injectors. Once you have the air bled at the injection pump bleeder screws You can loose one line at the pump that will bleed the air from the injection pump head that is what has to be bled then the fuel will force the air from the lines & injectors I have been bleeding them this way for 27 years & never had one that would not start doing it this way.
