The transmission of the tractor will stand any thing the leyland 6/98 motor can throw at it especially if it is a 10 speed,the rear axle is totally different to the leyland 4 cyinder tractors. The most likley cause is the rubber mountings at the rear of the engine have failed letting the engine move out of line with the transmission,causing failure of the splines in the clutch driven plate,providing you can get the parts on your side of the pond ok its a quick and easy fix.
