Need fly control advice. We live 1/3 mile from a large chicken/egg operation. 500,000 chickens I think. We have no livestock. Only two dogs. I am looking for something that I can use to knock down the fly population outside when there is a bloom. We just had a bad period last week. I went out and bought one of these Fimco sprayers from TSC and sprayed the entire yard with Tempo 20 WP. We did not see great results. We have used the trap-n-toss pots and the quick strike mats in the past and seem to have good results, but these things don’t even put a dent in the population when we have a problem. When we have a bloom, I can fill up fly strips in an hour. I have also used a fogger, but am not sure if I am really getting any results from that either. I am looking for a safe insecticide that I can use to knock down the population. My wife is pregnant and we have two dogs so I am hesitant to use anything too nasty. Also wondering if anyone has had any experience with Fly Predators. I believe flies may be breeding in our dog's fenced in area and was wondering if these little buggers would help. Sorry for the O/T, but you guys give good advice
