BUBBLE GUM! We buy it in small buckets, Sam's Club, Cost Co., or Smart and Final. We use it on ground squirrels out here. Don't need to unwrap it. Just spread it around. They eat it and cannot digest it. They die in their holes and the colony just ceases to exist. I am not certain that Tree Squirrels will eat bubble gum (brand does not matter) but if they did your trouble would turn into dead rotting squirrels in between the walls of your home. Good luck!
