Below is strictly my opinion, and not meant to offend other people. Good Lord. It's not to keep kids away from farm machinery, it's that most kids are stupid around these things. I own and operate a John Deere 30 pull type combine, a New Idea 323 corn "peeker", a 5000 pound John Deere 60, mow everyday with a Farmall Cub, Restored an Allis Chalmers G, and a long list of other things with NO major accident. That is the problem. Some kids are gifted with the brains to be around PTO shafts, unloading augers, snapping rolls, flywheels, ect. Unfortunitly, most don't know about these things. If my post hole digger wouldn't go down, I'd get a bigger tractor with enough Power-Trol to push it down.
