Looking for info on American Tractor (name brand) built in Churabusco IND in early 50's? They were a tracked vehicle like the Case Crawlers, or Catipiller.

American Tractor Co. built the Terratrac crawlers.
They were purchased by Case in the late 50's or early 60's. The Terratracs were developments of the WWII Clarkair dozers and the USTrac crawlers. There is a webpage for the Terratracs. I don't have the URL, but if you search "terratrac" it should come up.

The book 150 Years of Case give a brief but good description of the history of the American Tractor company. American Tractor merged with Case in early 1957, and the CEO of American became the CEO of Case after the merger.
