Is the motor in this AC M dozer the same as in any Allis tractor? I think this winter we are going to tear it down and freshen it up a bit, especially gaskets. Problem is parts... Doesn't seem like anyone lists parts for dozer motors.. So can I get stuff for something else that will work?
Also I would like to say thank you to all that have answered this dozing novice's questions.. I am still working on getting things level and smooth, but am improving! It is really nice to have access to the knowledge here on the board! Thank you everyone, and Kudo's to Kim for a wonderful use of the Net! Now if I could only fix my broken selecto speed as quickly as I can get answers here life would be golden!

The engine was manufactured by Waukesha it was the model UM you can find gaskets at your local car parts dealer that handles the FelPro line. The head gasket set part# is hs7639s and a full set of gaskets is part# fs7639s. Hope this will help a little, possibly you can also get some information from Waukesha for parts.

The M crawler tractor had three different engines in it.

They are UM --used in the IU, UH,42S,42T,M U40 IU, 42S,42T,M U318 IU, 42S,42T,M

The all used the U series engine.

Hope that helps.
