I have a Caterpillar D7 model 3t. It is one that is old and was used in the world wars. Does anyone have any information on these old cable controlled dozers. Thanks

What you want to know? Are you looking for a manual or something? I can look up HP ratings and other stuff tomorrow.

I'll check out the HP tomorrow. It will work for what you want to do, not as well as the new hydraulic blades of course, but will get the job done.

I am doing a school project, which is to restore a D7 T3.
It was setting but now I got it to run. I was pulling a 10-ft disk in Second and it seems like its having a hard time pulling but when I turn, the motor slows down and throughs lots of black smoke. But when I let the brake go it sounds strong for about 30 sec. Then starts having a hard time. Someone said it could be a diesel problem. It also uses Oil. This is a school project and I need some help. Thanks
