The TD6 is a very desireable machine. It is small runs well, easily transported and can do a lot of work. The parts are available. As long as the rails and the undercarrage are in good shape the 600 may be a fair value. It should wight slight over 6000, the TD9 weighted slightly under 9000 empty weight and without blade. Personally I would like to have one. Missed out on a sale where a guy sold two for 1200 and one was parts and the other had cracked the hamcase. It was gone before I read the Sunday paper at 7:30 in the morning. The running gear, I would presume you mean the final drive or the transmission and rear end. The parts are available and can be repaired. The real question is what will it cost you to fix. Probably will cost more to fix than a restored one is worth but that all dependant upon what is really the matter with the unit. But depending upon how much work you do yourself, if you want to own one and can use it for somethings. Than the value will be there. I have a TD9 that a full engine rebuild went it to it and I have offers for a lot more for the tractor than what I have in it. So there is a market out there. You will have to be comfortable with what you are doing and there are always surpises that may make it more expensive to fix. Been there and done that. For me I fixing and running them. Just like all the old farmalls we have. Sorry for the long post
