Hi All. Congratulations on the Crawler page. Tracks rule!

My 2 Ton has an International "A4" engine fitted which is way too fast for her. I am on the hunt for an original engine in Australia but they are extremely hard to find. If there is anybody who knows about the Inter engine please contact me. Also I may fit a diesel engine of some sort. What comments from you all as to a suitable engine. Maybe a tractor engine?

Have a look at http://home.caboolture.net.au/rabbitt

Cheers
Glenn

I am trying to purchase a 2 ton from an old family friend,BUT it was retrofitted with a ford flathead v8 back in the 50's. It has no blade or other accessories, just a basic crawler. I have one question what is something like this worth?
Thanks for your time...Brian

Well, I paid $800 (Aust.) or about $500 US for mine as she was. In hindsight it was on the high side, but they are a collectors item and especially over here, very hard to find. It comes down to what you are willing to pay for the fun you will have with it. By the way, how have they done the clutch on that one. Mine works backwards so they just welded a lever onto the shaft instead of the links and pedal.

Best of luck, and post a link with some photo's for us.
