I own an a 1942 US Army Engineers, Clark airborne dozer. It is currently a lawn ornament and came with the rural property I bought. It last ran about 10 years ago.

How hard is it to get parts for this machine? Do you think it is worthwhile trying to get it to run? What do you think it is worth?

Any advice/comments appreciated.

Parts for the Clark CA1 are not very easy to come by. You can count on spending some time tracking them down. They made about 2500 of them, if you want a unique piece of military history, it's worth repairing, its also a decent little crawler.
I've seen them go from 800.00 poor condition to 3500.00 good condition running. Where are you located?

How much difference is there between the clark airborne and the ones that don't have the clark tag. I have one made by a company from East Peoria Ill. As far as I can tell it is identical to the clarks.
