I noticed when I checked my oil the last few times it has actually came up some. It is not cloudy but I suspect diesel fuel is getting into the oil pan.
What could be the cause of this, I am new to diesels? Right now I will drain it and start with a heavy weight 40 and keep it a half a quart low.

Thanks,

The fuel is entering the crankcase from either the fuel transfer pump[located on the side of the engine] or from the injection pump drive shaft seals.

I would not recommend running your machine until you find out where the diesel is coming from. If your operate your engine with diesel in the oil it will thin it out and maybe destroy your bearings.
