Anybody know of a source for the cutting edge on a Cletrac AG-6 w/8' blade.

The blade is actually an Oliver/Heil blade, and I can't seem to find anyone with cutting edges that even come close to what I need.

Any suggestions..?

Don

Go to your local welding shop the blade edges are the same that are on modern farm loader buckets. A used blade edge from a county maintaner (road patrol) will also work. I have several A's so if you have a problem let me know.. Good Luck Spark

I agree with the above comment from Albert. Cutting edges for older blades can be hard to find. Used edges off of road graders may be your lowest cost option, as for new or custom made, try your local wear plate suppliers. As another option, have them cut at a local steel shop...Andy

Check out the maint section on ibdozing.com. discussion board. There is also a discussion on blade material for an IH TD20 series tractor.

Andy should be able to help you out. If you leave a message. You can leave it in the Cletrac forum but probably the maint forum would be the best.
