HYDROLICS OPERATE VERY SLOWLY . FLUID LEVEL IS OK.IT SEEMS TO HAVE HAVE PRESSURE .IT SEEMS TO BE OK. IT JUST OPERATES VERY SLOWLY . DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS? THANK YOU

One thing to look at like OZ said is the filter to resevoir clean. The HD5G with the tracmotive shovels on them were real interesting beasts to say the least. Awkward things at least on the HD9G they are.

One thing, is, do you have the proper type of hydraulic oil. Make sure that there is no water in the oil. Just worked on one where there was a bit of water in the oil and it froze in there and made it very slow. If the oil is milky at all you have water in the oil. Drain it immediately.

I presume that the packing is not leaking too bad internally and externally. You might want to take the pump off and have it tested. It is probably worn out. Let me know I have several spares available to me.
