I recently bought a very small crawler mfg by Washington Scale Company in Yakima, WA. It is kind of a unique little crawler, about 3-1/2' x 6', with a small bed framed with steel tubing, and powered by an 8 hp Briggs & Stratton.

I really know nothing about crawlers, and had no reason to buy it, but for some reason, when I saw this little buggy, the fever hit me.

Reportedly, it was manufactured in the 60's for the Forrest Service, for moving small pieces of wood. Does anybody have any information on these machines, so I can find out more about them?

I also have a Crawler built by Washington Scale Company. It has a 7 horse Briggs built in 1973. It has a Forestry Service tag on it. I was also wondering about information about mine.

If you could email me some pictures, I do have some material, but it may not be for yours. If you go to Yahoo clubs and track laying garden tractors someone there may be able to help also. I visit this site and that ine regularly and enjow both.
