I just picked up an OC3 and have not found the crawler's S/N plate, probably because it had a Ware loader mounted to it. I've heard that the crwaler's S/N can also be found on the engine head (side) or on the bell housing...is this correct for the Crawler's S/N and not the engine S/N? The Engine plate states that the Model of the engine is a Hercules IXK3. But, I've heard that the OC3 had an IXB engine....is this an OC3?...or possibly something else? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. See Pic.

The Ixa had a 3.0" bore, the Ixb had a 3.125" bore and the later Ixk had a 3.25" bore.
And with those front Idlers, it would be a HG.
Looks like you have a fairly complete unit.
Good luck, try Zimmermans for parts 717-738-2573.

GG

If there are holes in the front idlers, it's an HG.
