I have a 471 Detroit that is missing, pretty sure it is fuel related. Replaced all fuel lines and fuel filters, fuel pump. Fuel return line is working. One thing I've noticed is every time I take the secondary filter off it is less than half full, I don't understand this. Does anyone have any ideas whats causing this? Thanks in advance.

I had a 2-71 with the same problem, I had to remove the fuel tank and give it a thorough cleaning, took it to the car wash, also blew out the copper lines, replace any rubber sections with new hose. Sounds like something is blocking fuel inlet in tank. Let us know what works.
