I'm going back up in the hills tomorrow to replace the L/H Steering Clutch Control Valve. I had to replace the roller bearing on said valve. Just want to double check, after I put the Steering Clutch Control Valve back on the Machine do I then have to bleed the Steering Clutch Control Valve? If so what is the procedure?
Thanks
Steve

No Steve you don't have to bleed it. Just be careful to get every thing back where it came from. Get everything started first then tighten them up, the tubes should lay in nicely when in right( parallel). Due to the problem you have just fixed the brake band might be worn down a bit. There are two covers, diamond shaped with two bolt in them, the brake is adjusted under them. Use a 9/19 socket. Some have the adjuster coming through the top of them, and later ones have extentions going up near the seat. Turn this up a bit if you have a low peddal. Then run the machine for a while, it should steer with light peddal pressure. If the clutches are dry and you get the bands too tight the brake will start to drag, back it off. If the peddals are not even when you finish I'll tell you more next time.
Let me know if you find the plugs I told you about.I'll be watching all week.
Good luck Bob
