Can anyone tell me if the 1080B was two speed travel?I want to use the drive motors off of the Case on a Drott 50D but would like to know if they are two speed like mine.

Hello Shaun,
If I am not mistaken, the 1080B uses a different drive motor set up than the 50D. They both use a 2 speed motor, but I think that the 50D uses Tyrone motors and the 1080B uses Commercials. They may have the same capability, but the final drives on these machines are different - affecting the mounting of the motor. The 50D and the 980B and 1080 (not B series)used the same final. Good luck, none of them are cheap!
