Anybody familiar with a D8 14A812? Everything I can see is unbolted from the starting engine and it's transmission. It can be moved up,down and sideways, it rotates a little, but it won't come free of the clutch housing. Is it just stuck or is there something left holding it? Thanks for any advice.

Chuck, if you think every thing is off, just take a large pry bar and GENTLY try to pry it out. It is likely just stuck on the big Oring.
Don't force it Bob.

I bet you didnt crawl underneath to take out the 2 bolts that are at the back of the starting engine out did you? I had the same problem taking the pony off of our D8.The bolts go into the block of the big engine.
