Tom most grease fittings are 1/8NPT for lubrication, the ones for the track adjusters are special.Don't know exact HP but can check later.
How is your machine, you got it recently didn't you?

Bob;
Thanks for your response. YES, I have owned it for about 5 weeks now. What a nice machine!!! I'm just a regular home owner with 6 acres. My wife and I are doing all the landscaping ourselves, so got a Case 580 backhoe and now the CAT D3B.

Anyway, have the manuals on orders, adjusted brakes and steering clutches. Would like to check injectors. Engine does start with very little effort but does "sputters and wheezes" a little when throttle is open half way and is cold. Once warmed up, it goes away. Will have to wait till manuals arrive.

Thanks, Tom

Your really getting into it in a big way Tom, once your done, all the neighbours are going to want something done too. Might have started a buisness and don't know it yet.:<)You will have a lot of fun doing it too. I put a piece on our house 23 yrs ago and had some fill left, rented a Basic grader, moved it around and smoothed up the yard and cut the grades. It worked well, was as big as a car, 20 HP Onan eng Hyd drive, made down in Georgia, near Atlanta. A set of EXCH nozzels might be good, be careful to get the lines tight so fuel doesn't leak into the engine oil. If steering ever gets hard check the small bearings on the ends of the valves they fail often but no big deal.
Later,Bob
