I have a TD9-92 with a Drott 9K3 skid shovel loader with has a broken coil spring in the hydro spring assembly. I was wondering if anyone knows where I might find a replacement.

Hydrocoil spring, I knew where one was. I have not looked at it in the last year or so but I would presume that it is still there.

If I can find the spring, you will get a complete unit but you will have to put your base onto the spring. The unit will be complete. That spring is under a lot of tension. Reason for the base exchange is if IH sold the loader, the port for the hydraulics was 90 degrees different than if Drott sold the machine.

Also you will want to make sure your packing and seal is good. The seal is by Garlock. It is an odd ball seal and on some of the ones I have had rebuilt I have a hydraulic shop make a new packing nut that uses current stuff.

I have several of the Drott machines. Check it out at www.ibdozing.com
