drivetrain makes alot of noise when putting on the slightest load,don't think it's the motors but not sure.
If it is the hydrostatic drive, is it cheaper to rebuild or replace?

Hey Rick, its been my experience that on any skid-steer the drive pumps will whine more when you just barely move the levers than at any other time especially if digging or pushing, if the drive is not weak I wouldn't worry about it, as long as you dont have any damage to the pump or motor housings it is cheaper to rebuild most of the time, you might want to do some research on it tho, not sure about the Gehl's but Bobcat tracked machines its much cheaper to buy a new drive motor than to rebuild, new motor is 3 grand, basic needed parts to rebuild is over 5 grand plus more labor time, ridiculous
