gatractorman, I know you know Bobcats, so , I went to local dealer's open house weekend past, they had all the new models out for us to try, hoping I would buy a new one, nah. anyhow they all are so full of elect stuff I could hardly run one, it makes my 863 feel nice, my question is are the servo controls om my 863 going to start giving trouble? I now have 1800 hrs. on it and have had no problems, and my loaderdigs swimming pools every week, approx 200 yds of hard NC red dirt. Should I start looking to trade, or keep using? ths for any help,Nat

Hey Nat, those new ones are nice aint they LOL till one of those sensors start sending a wrong voltage reading to the computer, your 863 is a great machine although I'm not a big fan of the servo control steering, its hard to say what hour reading they will need to be rebuilt, I have had to build them with less hours than yours and have seen them with more hours and still working fine, I wouldn't be concerned till it starts giving some sort of problem, best I can remember the total bill parts and labor runs about $1500 for a servo job, thats way less than one of them new fangled fancy machines.

tks, I realy use the 863 heavy when digging pools, most dealers think I'm nuts, use a TLB, they say but from start to finish of a pool, I make better time with skid steer. The servo sure makes a 6-8 hrs stint on that seat easier on my old shoulders, they have been rebuilt also. my son's 763 steers like a cement tk. compared to mine. I quess I will stick with what I've got.tks for input. Nat
