A friend of mine just bought a real cherry TD6.
He's in the processes of painting it and would
like to find a place to purchase new decals. Could
any of you give me addresses or phone numbers
of the people I need to contact. Thanks ahead of
time to all.

One more question that someone can maybe help me on. My wife's grandmother also says that the tracks are "the wide ones" and therefore are more rare. My questions are: Was there a difference and what were the widths of the regular tracks versus the "wide" tracks so I can verify.

Mike, The narrow gauge had 12" wide plates for an overall width of 53" and the wide track had 16" plates for an overall width of 63".

I dont know that the wide track is all that rare. I have a wide track T6 and when I was looking for it at least 3 out of every 4 I looked at here in California were wide track. I guess that could be due to the hills out here.

Jeff

Just curious as to what he had to pay for the TD6. My wife's grandmother has an old TD6 in an old shed down at the farm and is wanting to sell it. It has been setting in there since her son went to Vietnam. The rear plate is off as one of the brakes locked up. She tells me that all the new parts are there but they didn't know how to put it back together... Engine turns over also. Any comments would be appreciated.

My friend paid $4500.00 for it but the under-
carriage is just like new and it has a eight foot hyd dozer with it.

I'm looking at a TD-6 with a Drott skid shovel
loader. Any idea what this thing might weigh?
I need to know how much trailer to haul it
on since it's about 5 hours away. TNX...

I would guess around 10,000# to be safe.
Good Luck, Paul

I have most of a an original IH water transfer decal set, still in the IH box, that I might sell but they are the BLACK lettering to go on a YELLOW paint job. If you are interested I can make a list of what is there.

What do you want for the decal kit. Is it a complete kit if not what is missing.
