Andy - My father has a HD6G near Globe, AZ. Right now we are looking for a service manual to repair the right track transmission and reverse. The right track is frozen and won't go forward or backwards and the left track is fine. Can you help me? If we don't get this fixed we may have a set of tracks for you. Do you have a service manual? We may need to get with you and get a copy of a section or if you have any info to help us, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Amy Jo Haywood

Amy-No manuals here, They can be purchassed under the market place banner at this site.( left hand side)

Your problem sounds like a froze track, or broke final drive. Jack it up and see if you can get any forward or backward movement from the bad side. A broke final may haved you jammed in one spot. A frozen trrack should allow you to travel almost the full length one way or another. Either way, you will need to pull the bad side track pins underneath and slightly behind the front idler. Then pull the top string of tracks off, jack the dozer up and try to spin the bad side. That will give you a good idea of what your problem is.
