I just found an International T340 in the weeds. I dont know a whole lot about them but have always wanted a crawler to restore for use. One of the tracks is buried in the dirt and looks like it has run off of the rollers. It has a loader on it and what looks like a rear scraper. The engine is more than likely stuck as the soup can on the exhaust has rusted thru. I can post pics probably on Monday. What would something like this be worth and how hard would it be to find parts?
Thanks!

Parts are hard to come by as Komatsu is the dealer for I.H. crawlers now, you can get engine parts thru Case. Price depends on condition of tracks, I am working on 2 of these 340's now. What part of the country are you in ?

If either of you guys has an extra left side track adjuster,or knows where I could find one, I sure could use one to finish my TD-340. Let me know.....Thanks.

I saw a T-340 for salvage at L&S equipment in Berwick, Maine. They're listed on this site, which has many salvage yards around the country. Shouldn't be too hard to find the track adjuster.

Great machine. I set mine up to take an old backhoe attachment too.

How do you check the condition of the tracks - all in all everything is there but Im sure everything needs redone as it has been sitting for quite some time. Im located in central Iowa (Traer/Reinbeck) about 25 miles South of Waterloo.

I have a T340 Narrow with a 6 way blade & Winch.
It runs great and all the Tracks & Rollers are in good shape.

I would like to sell it.

Make me an offer.

The things to check on tracks are the rear sprockets, the teeth should not be sharp points but rounded over, check the pins the sprocket rides on for wear and check the bottom rollers for looseness. You could part it out and make your money back if you get it for the right price. bob
