I have severly damaged the radiator on my case 580 const king backhoe
When looking thru the parts catalog It states two differant types of transmissions
1. "power shuttle"
2. "mechanical shuttle"

Mine has a 4 speed transmission with a forward and reverse lever on the left side of the steering column, which radiator do I order?
And how about a used radiator? any thoughts on where to find one? New ones are around 400.00

Ron,

The difference is that the “shuttle transmission”, which it sounds like you have, has an oil cooler in the bottom of the radiator and the standard clutch machines do not need an oil cooler. Follow the link provided. Click on the radiator tab for an application chart and pricing.

Thanks, Marc

Difference is that the power shuttle had a higher hp output, thus requiring a larger type radiator. I think that if you were to buy one now, only the larger capacity would be available which would benefit you. The way to tell which one you have is the power shuttle has a torque convertor thus there was no need to clutch.
