Somehow the top mounting bolt of the starter on my D3B crawler snapped off. The starter is now just hanging by the other 2 bolts. I can see the one closest to the engine panel and have NO idea where the other one is located. So far I have taken all the wires off and am now puzzled how do you get at the other 2 bolts???? Even the one I can see I can't see how I can get a ratchet and extension squeezed in there. Any/all help is appreciated.

Thanks, Tom

You have to pull the belly pans to get access to the bottom starter mounting bolt. Run the machine up on a couple of timbers and lock the brakes. This will give you a little more shoulder room for rermoving the pans. I always use a come along to hold the pan in place when taking out the bolts and then gently lowering it to the ground.

Good Luck
