Howdy all, just noticed that there are some very knowledgable crawler mechanics out there on this board and I thought I would drop you a few questions to see if you have some answers. First of all, do any of you have any hints on tightening the tracks on this dozer that has a track adjusting nuts so rusted that it is impossible to move them. Any way to get the track adjustment nuts to move? Is it better to park the crawler on something in order to tighten or just flat on the ground? Second, is there any adjustment on the clutches and brakes for this dozer or should I just replace them? How difficult is replacement of clutches and brake drums on an old HD10? Any description of the process would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any advice you can give me.
