I need to break a track to repair a track adjuster. I have located the master link pin. Which way do I need to knock the pin out. Looking at the parts maual I think I need to knock the pin from the inside out. Does anyone have any advice from their own experiences?

the easies way i've found is from the inside out, that way you dont run into wedging the pin against the dozer

It depends on what style track you have most of the master pins that are dimpled in on both sides will drive out either way. some of the old master pins have a head on one side and sill only come out one way.
