Is there a way to ajust the forward and reverse shuttle shift, after the machine has been running for an hour its hesitant to move. If I push the clutch in and release then it catches and then moves ok. I'm just tired of always using the foot clutch. I dont have a technical manual so any help would be great. By the way I'm running deere hydrualic oul in all the hydraulics as well as the tranny, is this ok?

I live at 8301 Baldwin Rd. Sparta, Il, 62286.

If the shipping is less than $10.00 and the book is in good shape I'd be interested, Let me know your address and I'll get you a check. thanks-Jeff Luthy

I want to be fair to you, but also would like to get a fair price for it. If you want to check with your JD Dealer, and I will with mine, I will beat it. The number on it is a TM-1115 (Nov-86).
It is very thick, a good 2 inches thick, and goes over everything. The specs, every componet on what to look for, and how to fix it. I will make a call Tuesday.

Find out how much they are wanting for a Manual, and I will beat their price. I have a TM (technical manual) for the 350C, 350D Crawler Bulldozer, 350C,355D Crawler Loader all in one. It is very thick and full of all the information you could need. BZ

Yes you need the service msnual. The most likely cause is oil leakage inside the reverser, either at the hydraulic pump or at the hooh rings on the reverser clutch packs.

If I remember correctly the C series is the same as the older 350 machines in that it doesn't have a regular clutch setup like the 450's, all the clutch pedal does is moves a spool and drops pump pressure so the reverser wont pull, you could have a pressure problem or how about the clutch pedal, is the return spring hooked up on it and keeping the pedal pulled up, if you can gain access to a manual it will tell you how to check and adjust pressure you may consider purchasing one as it has alot of invaluable info inside.

Well the dealer would be able to get one, but it's gonna be expensive like mabye $300 for a service manual but dont worry you will get your money out of it many times over, you might hop over to Ebay and see if by chance one is up for auction there, or mabye some of the other guys here will know somewhere else to get one.
